About Bread Breakker
Building the future of community-powered home cooking, one swap at a time.
Our Mission
We believe everyone deserves access to varied, high-quality, home-cooked meals—without spending hours in the kitchen every night.
Bread Breakker empowers small communities to cook together, trade smart, and build meaningful connections around food. We're bringing the spirit of neighborhood potlucks into the modern age with game-like mechanics that make coordination fun and effortless.
Our Story
Bread Breakker was born from a simple frustration: cooking for one (or two) is inefficient, repetitive, and often uninspiring. But cooking big batches means eating the same thing all week. There had to be a better way.
The idea hit us during a casual conversation about fantasy sports leagues. What if we applied those same game mechanics—rosters, trades, matchups—to home cooking? What if small groups of friends could coordinate weekend cooking and swap portions like trading fantasy players?
We built Bread Breakker to make that vision a reality. A platform that combines the social fun of fantasy leagues with the practical benefits of meal planning and community connection.
Meet the Co-Founders

Richard Krzemien
Co-Founder & Chef Product Officer
Richard grew up in a big Italian family where food wasn't just sustenance—it was love, tradition, and connection. Every Saturday, he and his wife cook a feast that could feed eight, even though it's just the two of them. Come Sunday, his extended family gathers for their weekly ritual: everyone brings their Saturday specialties—from nonna's ragù to his cousin's carbonara—and they trade leftovers. No one eats the same meal twice, everyone gets variety, and the food is always spectacular because each person makes their signature dish. Bread Breakker was born from this tradition, scaled for communities everywhere.
"In my family, Sunday isn't just about leftovers—it's about abundance, variety, and staying connected."

Sean Munley
Co-Founder & Chef Technology Officer
Sean is a full-stack engineer with expertise in scalable systems, real-time applications, and developer experience. He architects the technical infrastructure that powers seamless coordination and trading for communities of home cooks. With a deep belief that great software should feel invisible, he focuses on building tools that just work—so people can spend less time clicking and more time cooking, eating, and connecting.
"Great software feels invisible. It just works, so people can focus on what matters."
